In recognition of IBD Day, Boditech Med reaffirms its commitment to supporting the management and diagnosis of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
As the prevalence of IBD continues to rise globally, early diagnosis and personalized treatment are essential to improving patient outcomes and quality of life.

Cyfra21-1, a fragment of cytokeratin 19, is widely recognized as a key tumor marker for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
But emerging evidence suggests its potential as a biomarker for interstitial lung disease (ILD), helping assess disease progression and prognosis.

Studies show that elevated serum tumor markers, including Cyfra21-1, are linked to the presence and worsening of ILD.
This highlights Cyfra21-1’s versatility in both malignant and non-malignant lung conditions, making it a valuable tool in diagnosis, prognosis, and disease monitoring.

Its ability to predict disease severity, progression, and prognosis in ILD suggests that Cyfra21-1 could be a crucial tool in the clinical management of chronic lung diseases beyond just lung cancer.
