A total of 10,017 mission-essential assets were unveiled during the activity. These will be distributed to regional and national police units to strengthen mobility, communication, firepower, intelligence gathering, police visibility, and overall field readiness.
Acting Chief PNP PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. expressed his gratitude to the national government for continuously prioritizing the upgrading of police capability.
“We thank the government for allocating this significant investment to strengthen our operational readiness,” he said.
He noted that the support reflects the unwavering commitment of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to build a safer and more secure nation.
“This is a strong message of trust from the administration,” he added. “Atin pong sisiguraduhin na sulit ang bawat pisong ibinigay para sa kapayapaan at seguridad ng ating bayan.”
PLTGEN Nartatez also assured the public that these improvements will translate to more dependable police service.
“With these new tools, our communities can rely on a police force that responds faster, performs better, and protects more effectively,” he emphasized.
“Ito po ang Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas—Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman.”
PNP Spokesperson and Chief PIO PBGEN Randulf T. Tuaño highlighted how the newly procured equipment will be felt directly by the public.
“Even if the public cannot see every detail of this equipment, they will feel its impact,” he said. “Response times will be faster, police visibility will be stronger, and operations will be more efficiently coordinated.”
He added that the PNP is committed to deploying the equipment where they are most needed.
“Ito ay para sa mga komunidad—lalo na sa mga lugar na nangangailangan ng mas mataas na antas ng seguridad,” PBGEN Tuaño explained. “Our goal is simple: a police service that the public can depend on anytime, anywhere.”
The blessing ceremony underscores the PNP’s continuing modernization and transformation efforts—ensuring that every piece of equipment leads to better service, stronger accountability, and deeper trust between the police and the Filipino people.
The PNP reaffirmed that the organization remains fully committed to building a police force that is modern, responsive, and truly dedicated to protecting the nation.
