⚠ 5 Complications of dry joints, don't be subjective
Dry joints is a condition in which there is little or no secretion of lubricants in the joints. This condition causes the ends of the joints to rub directly against each other, causing a lot of pain and difficulty in movement for the patient. Some complications of dry joints are not subjective
❌ Restrict joint movement
Difficulty performing activities such as standing up and sitting down, climbing stairs, stretching legs, running and jumping...
Joints always feel tired, or more seriously, they lose feeling
❌The pain appears many and lasts long
When you have dry joints for a long time, the articular cartilage gradually wears away, causing the bone ends to be exposed and rub directly against each other. From there, it causes severe, persistent pain
❌Muscle atrophy, joint deformity
When joint dryness persists, the muscles around the joint may atrophy. If this condition occurs in the knee, it will cause the leg to become crooked, causing limping and injury during exercise.
❌Joint paralysis
Long-term dry joints cause the joints to not have enough mucus to function and gradually become dry and stiff, causing difficulty in movement and loss of joint function.
This is the most serious complication of rheumatoid arthritis, which can leave the patient paralyzed for life and is very difficult to treat.
