Some physical therapy exercises for the knee joint that you can do yourself at home
1. Straight leg lift exercise
This exercise both warms up and strengthens the hamstrings. Proceed as follows:
- Lie on your back on the floor.
- Bend one leg so that the foot is flat on the floor.
- Keeping the other leg straight, then gradually raise it up and then lower it down.
- Repeat 10-15 times, then do the same for the other side.
2. Exercises to stretch the hamstrings
With this exercise, your hamstrings will be significantly improved
- Stand up straight and put one foot in front and one in the back as if you were walking.
- 2 armrests on the chair, eyes looking straight.
- Bend your front leg, keeping your back leg straight.
- Hold for 15-20 seconds, then repeat the above movements 2-5 times before switching legs.
3. Strength training squats
