Sinusitis is a very common respiratory disease in Vietnam today, just a form of inflammation and damage to the lining of the nasal sinuses. The disease can cause runny nose, sneezing, choking, discomfort, headache, etc., making the patient very uncomfortable.
Nasal fluid accompanied by pus stagnation in the sinuses for a long time can overflow into surrounding parts such as the throat or even the ears. This fluid flows through the eustachian tube (the connection between the ear and the nasal cavity) causing inflammation, obstruction and affecting the normal physiological function of the ear. Since then, the patient often feels ear inflammation, ear pain and sometimes tinnitus.
Tinnitus is a common condition caused by the auditory nerve being affected, leading to changes in some factors in the inner ear. Patients with tinnitus often feel the echoes fluctuate with unstable frequency and rhythm, very annoying and pressing. Sinusitis often changes according to head position or due to nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, causing the eustachian tube to be blocked or completely blocked.
Tinnitus is very common in patients with sinusitis. Most people consider this to be a normal symptom and can go away once the sinusitis gets better. However, if tinnitus is not treated in time for a long time, you can completely face many dangerous complications, especially the possibility of deafness.

It is more likely to lead to sinusitis with tinnitus, but most often it is due to the amount of pus and mucus stagnant in the sinuses overflowing. The normal part of the eustachian tube has the role of balancing the pressure of the ear and the outside environment.
When fluid overflows into the eustachian tubes, they become blocked, causing pain and ringing in the ears due to the pressure in the ear being deflected.
๐ Infection: Harmful agents such as bacteria, viruses, and molds can enter the sinus cavities and cause inflammation and blockage in the eustachian tubes.
๐ Respiratory diseases: If the patient has certain respiratory diseases, they can cause mucus to accumulate in the sinuses and cause inflammation.
๐ Allergies to allergens: Many of you are allergic to animal hair, dust, chemicals, pollen, etc., when accidentally exposed to this substance, it is easy to cause allergies. They cause swelling of the lining of the sinuses, causing blockage of the sinus openings as well as the tympanic tubes.
๐ Other factors: Some congenital structures of the sinuses make you more susceptible to sinusitis, including septal defects, genetic disorders. In addition, there are additional defects in molars such as tooth decay, tooth infection, etc. can also cause maxillary sinusitis.
