1SG Stephen Palmer

Hailing from Rhode Island, 1SG Palmer joined the U.S. Army in 2009 as a Combat Medic and now serves in South Korea as the First Sergeant of the most forward-deployed expeditionary Role III Field Hospital in the U.S. Army.

He began his Jiu-Jitsu journey in San Antonio, TX, training under world champions Rodrigo Pinheiro, Riba Manuel, and Nathiely Jesus, and continues his path under Professor Kris Kim, a 4th Degree Black Belt under the De La Riva association.

A fierce competitor and proud ambassador of the Korean Jiu-Jitsu community, 1SG Palmer embodies the warrior spirit both on and off the mats.

On Thursday, the 502D Field Hospital conducted a Change of Responsibility ceremony, marking the transition of our Senior Enlisted Advisor role from MSG Holland to SFC Susi.

SU***DE AWARENESS HERO WOD 💪🎗️

This past Friday our team knocked out our monthly HERO WOD, putting the focus on su***de awareness and the importance of looking out for one another in our Army family.

We crushed a 3-mile ruck, pushed through hill sprints, push-ups, and flutter kicks, and closed it out with some powerful words from our chaplain.

These workouts aren’t just about getting stronger physically — they’re about building resilience, connection, and reminding each other that no one fights alone. 🖤💛💙❤️🤍
