Patients in or post COVID-19 infection
Study title:
1. COVID-19 cardiac injury: Implications for long-term surveillance and outcomes in survivors
2. COVID-19 and cardiac arrhythmias: A global perspective on arrhythmia characteristics and management strategies
Findings:
- It is recommended to take an ECG or other types of cardiac monitoring in the recovery phase to check abnormality in post COVID-19 infection
- Atrial fibrillation was the most commonly reported tachyarrhythmia whereas severe sinus bradycardia and complete heart block were the most common bradyarrhythmias
- For identifying COVID-19 related arrhythmic risk or cardiac injury, Cardea SOLO can be a useful tool
