Beautiful cherry blossoms come into full bloom between the end of March and early April in Korea. Many Koreans go out to capture the cherry blossoms that bloom and fall over a short period with their eyes and cameras. That’s why there are so many people visiting places famous for lovely cherry blossoms in the spring.

There are several charming cherry blossom destinations in Seongnam as well. Today’s feature is ‘Hwangsaeul Park,’ which is one of the several parks famous for its cherry blossoms in Seongnam. Hwangsaeul Park is located between Seohyeon subway station, which is a sprawling urban commercial area of Seongnam, and Sunae Station. It has many rest facilities such as benches, tables and pavilions, and is visited by many people looking to take a moment of rest. There are also sports and exercise facilities including gateball, futsal, and exercise equipment, making it popular among sports enthusiasts, as well as numerous cyclists thanks to its well-organized bicycle roads.

In Seongnam, there are many venture companies such as famous game development companies and bio-related companies, so it is called Korea's Silicon Valley. It is said that the Cafe Street was naturally created as there were pretty cafes and European-style restaurants in this street.☕️

Near Seongnam, there is a hanok cafe in the mountains where you can drink traditional tea and stay in a hanok.🤓

There are pretty gardens and walking trails around the cafe, and there are also piano performances in the spring and summer.

There is a temple called Daegwangsa on Mt. Bulgok located in Seongnam.

Daegwangsa Temple has an enormous 17m-tall Maitreya Bodhisattva, and they allow temple stays, so many people come from all over the country.🤓

On one side of the temple is a 500-year-old asiatic cornelian cherry tree. The flower saying of its flower is “eternal and immortal love”.
It is said that if you swear your love there, you will never part.
When you visit Korea, stop by Daegwangsa and experience a temple stay ‼

Today, we went to the Eunhang Botanical Garden in Seongnam. It's not very big, but it seems like a nice place to take a quiet walk.
In the center of the botanical garden, there is a pond with a gazebo, and as you walk along the promenade, you will find a grove of maple trees, which is even more beautiful in autumn.🤓

At the Woodworking Experience Center, you can make a cutting board or a wall clock with wood.🌲🌹🌼

When you come to Korea, why not stop by Eunhang Botanical Garden in Seongnam and take a stroll?!

Namhansanseong, located in Seongnam, is a place frequented by tourists and hikers from all over the country.🤓

In Korea, 70% of the land is mountainous, and fortresses were built on top of mountains throughout the country in preparation for war.
Namhansanseong was usually used as a road from Seoul to the southern region, and during wartime it served as a fortress to protect the southern part of Seoul. Some of the fortress of Namhansanseong remains even today, and you can enjoy the beautiful view of the city of Seoul from the top of the mountain.

The 2021 Seongnam International Medical Tourism Convention event has successfully come to a close after being held from September 9th to 11th, 2021. 🥳🎉

During the event, business meetings and conferences related to medical tourism and healthcare were held.
