[Dr. Park Lectures on Pe**le Implants at UCI Men's Health Course]

The Advanced International Men's Health Course held it's 8th session online from January 25th~26th at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Park has been invited every year to give a lecture on pe**le implant surgery, especially the inflatable pe**le prosthesis

The Advanced International Men's Health Course has become one of the most renowned and successful online conferences in men's health which is lead by Dr. Faysal Yafi, associate professor of UC Irvine. They invite leading experts of each field from around the globe to lecture on very specialized areas of men's health. During this course, Dr. Park gave an online lecture and Q&A session on inflatable pe**le implant surgery through the subcoronal approach

[Dr. Wilson Visits Dr. Park & Stand Up Prosthetic Urology]

On November 25~28, Dr. Wilson who is a world-renowned urologist and regarded as the godfather of prosthetic urology, visited Dr. Park in South Korea. During his visit, Dr. Wilson observed Dr. Park's inflatable pe**le prosthesis in the OR and together had in-depth discussions on pe**le implant surgery. Dr. Park also took this opportunity to reassess and improve on his surgical techniques through Dr. Wilson's deep insights

In addition, Dr. Wilson also awarded Dr. Park a flag representing Stand Up Prosthetic Urology's continued excellence in maintaining its 'Center of Excellence for Pe**le Implants' distinction. This award comes after Dr. Park and his practice were designated as the 6th 'Center of Excellence for Pe**le Implants' in 2016 for its excellence in surgical outcomes and its role as a training center

On the last day, Dr. Wilson & Dr. Park held a private dinner conference for local Korean urologists who were interested in pe**le prosthesis surgery. Attendees had the chance to hear Dr. Wilson's lecture about history & current innovations of pe**le implant surgery. After the talk, attendees engaged in lengthy Q&A and in-depth discussions about pe**le implant surgery

Dr. Park and his colleagues did a study to investigate immediate preoperative blood glucose and the HbA1c levels of diabetic men that were related with postoperative inflatable pe**le prosthesis infection rate

In this multi-institute study, fasting glucose level and HbA1c had no relationship with infections. This result shows that sugar control degree means little with postoperative IPP infection in diabetic men

[Visiting Surgeons - Dr. Albert Ha From Stanford University]

On Aug 26th, Dr. Albert Ha visited Dr. Park's practice for a week to observe inflatable pe**le implant surgery. Dr. Ha is a urologist who graduated from Harvard Medical School, completed his urology residency at Columbia University in New York, and recently finished a fellowship in andrology at Stanford University

Dr. Ha is a promising Korean American Men's health urologist who was born and raised in US. For this visit, his goal was to study pe**le implant surgery under local anesthesia, which Dr. Park pioneered

Dr. Ha's visit was a part of the Wilson Memorial Research & Training Center's (WMRTC) education program, which aims to advance the field of prosthetic urology, especially inflatable pe**le implant surgery through research and surgeon training

[Dr. Park Lectures & Leads Cadaver Training for Pe**le Implants at UCI Advanced International Men’s Health Course]

The 2020 UCI Advanced International Men’s Health Course, held at the UC Irvine Medical Center, has recently invited Dr. Park as faculty to lecture & lead cadaver training on Pe**le Implants

The topics covered in this intensive two-day course included erectile dysfunction, prosthetic surgery (pe**le prosthesis), Peyronie’s disease, and ejaculatory dysfunction as well as other sexual complications

The first day consisted of intensive, day-long courses in Urology with Dr. Park lecturing on the different surgical approaches to Pe**le Implants – including the subcoronal approach as part of his lecture

The second day consisted of hands-on cadaver training in which Dr. Park demonstrated the subcoronal approach for inflatable pe**le prosthesis during the lab stations

The 2019 2nd meeting of Asian Society for Pe**le Surgery, held at Korea University Hospital on Nov. 10th, has recently invited Dr. Park for Semi-Live Surgery on Pe**le Implants
