[KOR] 수술의 변화는 몸에서만 일어나지 않습니다.

성별확정수술을 준비하고 회복하는 시간 속에는
기대, 불안, 걱정, 낯섦 같은 여러 감정들이 함께 존재합니다.

LGBTQ+센터는 지난 7개월간 8명의 참여자와 함께 성별확정수술 전후 심리상담 파일럿 프로그램을 운영해왔습니다.

그 과정에서 많은 참여자들이
“혼자가 아니라는 감각이 도움이 되었다”
“수술 전후의 감정을 안전하게 이야기할 수 있었다”
는 피드백을 전해주었습니다.

이러한 경험을 바탕으로,
심리적 지지와 연결을 보다 안정적으로 이어가기 위해
[마음브릿지] 프로그램을 정식으로 시작합니다.

[마음브릿지]는 성소수자 친화적이며 의학적 트랜지션에 대한 이해를 갖춘 심리상담가와 연계하여, 참여자가 자신의 속도에 맞게 변화를 준비하고 받아들일 수 있도록 돕고자 합니다.

또한 LGBTQ+센터 후원 기금을 통해
수술 전 2회, 수술 후 1회의 심리상담 비용을 지원합니다.

몸의 변화와 함께,
마음의 안전도 함께 돌볼 수 있도록.

Change does not happen only in the body.

For many people preparing for and recovering from gender-affirming surgery, emotions such as anxiety, anticipation, relief, and uncertainty exist together.

Over the past 7 months, the LGBTQ+ Center has operated a pilot psychological support program for 8 individuals before and after gender-affirming surgery.

Participants shared meaningful feedback, including feeling less alone and having a safe space to process emotions surrounding surgery and recovery.

Based on this experience, we are officially launching the [Mind Bridge Program] to provide more sustainable emotional support and connection throughout the journey.

Through LGBTQ+ affirming counselors with understanding of medical transition, we hope participants can prepare for and process change at their own pace.

Through donations made to the LGBTQ+ Center, counseling support is provided for up to two sessions before surgery and one session after surgery.

이번 발표에서는

✔ 탑수술 (흉부남성화수술) 에서 즉각적인 유두 재건의 정교한 기법
✔ 남성형 유두 축소 및 형태 개선 기술

을 중심으로, 실제 임상 경험과 결과를 공유했습니다.

Our team from Kangdong Sacred Heart Hospital LGBTQ+ Center presented abstracts at AESTHETIC PLASTIC SURGERY KOREA 2026.

This presentation highlighted:

✔ A biopsy punch–assisted approach for ni**le reduction and contour optimization

LGBTQ+센터는 일본 오사카 IDATEN Clinic과 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했습니다.

이다텐 클리닉은 STI 검사·치료·예방, HIV 예방(PrEP/PEP), 여행의학, 그리고 성별확정 호르몬 요법까지 아우르는 통합 진료를 제공하며, 익명 진료와 자기정체성을 존중한 의료 시스템을 통해 모든 성적지향과 성별정체성이 존중받는 환경을 실천하고 있습니다.

특히 HRT 상담 및 처방, 성별확정수술 연계, 심리·사회적 지원 협력 등 환자 중심의 효율적인 케어 모델이 인상적이었습니다.

이번 협약으로 도쿄 Personal Health Clinic에 이어 오사카에서도 협력병원 연계가 가능해졌으며, 연속적인 HRT 진료와 수술 후 관리 등 국경을 넘어 안전하고 전문적인 의료 지원이 더욱 확대됩니다.

[ENG]From Osaka to Seoul—building seamless, affirming care beyond borders 🌈

The LGBTQ+ Center has signed an MOU with IDATEN Clinic in Osaka, Japan.

IDATEN Clinic provides comprehensive services including STI care, HIV prevention (PrEP/PEP), travel medicine, and gender-affirming care, while ensuring anonymity and respecting patients’ self-identified gender.

Their patient-centered model includes HRT, gender affirming surgery referrals, and psychosocial support collaboration, offering efficient and accessible care.

Following our partnership with Personal Health Clinic in Tokyo, this collaboration expands continuous care in Osaka—supporting ongoing HRT, post-surgical care, and safe medical access across borders.

Together, we remain committed to affirming, expert healthcare for LGBTQ+ communities everywhere. Thank you for the warm welcome 🤝🌈
