🤔 DO YOU KNOW
☘️ The hair shaft (located on the scalp) is the dead part, while the hair follicle (located in the scalp) is the living part - "destiny" of each hair
☘️ The subsequent regeneration of the hair fiber happens in 3 stages:
1. Anagen phase: Hair germ cells differentiate in the dermal papilla to form a complete hair, pushed out of the scalp.
2. Catagen phase: Hair stops growing, hair roots gradually shrink and separate from the dermal papilla.
3. Telogen phase: The hair is completely pushed out of the scalp (alopecia), preparing for a new hair to grow.
👉 Following this growth cycle, hair will naturally shed about 40 to 100 hairs per day. But when the hair germ cells in the hair follicle are damaged, the amount of hair loss increases excessively, while new hair grow more slowly. More dangerous is the case that the hair germ cells are "destroyed". At this time, many bald spots, bald patches appear and can spread over time.
