Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Le Van Thinh Hospital and the Korean Beauty International Technology Association (KBIT)
Seoul, October 7, 2024 – At the Embassy of Vietnam in Seoul, South Korea, witnessed by Party Secretary of Thu Duc City Nguyễn Hữu Hiệp, Vice Chairman of Thu Duc City People’s Committee Nguyễn Bạch Hoàng Phụng, and the Embassy of Vietnam in South Korea, Le Van Thinh Hospital and the Korean Beauty International Technology Association (KBIT) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a significant development in the cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea in the field of beauty technology.
The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from both sides, with Le Van Thinh Hospital, representing the Thu Duc City People’s Committee, led by Dr. Trần Văn Khanh, Director of the Hospital, and KBIT, represented by Mr. Noh Huyn Taek, Vice Chairman of the Association. This event marks the beginning of comprehensive collaboration in advanced beauty technology, specialized training, and the development of expertise in dermatology, aesthetics, and cosmetic surgery.
Introduction of the Cooperation Partners:
Le Van Thinh Hospital, under the Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City, is one of the leading Grade I general hospitals in the region, renowned for its strong specialties such as surgery, interventional cardiology, and especially aesthetic dermatology. With a focus on developing a modern and smart healthcare system, Le Van Thinh Hospital is continuously improving the quality of its medical services, aiming to establish specialized healthcare centers in Thu Duc City.
KBIT, the Korean Beauty International Technology Association , is a pioneering organization in beauty technology research and development, headquartered at Naeun General Hospital in Incheon, South Korea. The association brings together 16 top doctors and collaborates with 16 educational centers in aesthetic hospitals across South Korea, providing high-quality training programs for medical and beauty professionals.
Cooperation Objectives:
Under the MOU, both parties will jointly develop specialized training programs and provide modern beauty technology and equipment, including stem cell technology, to enhance the quality of dermatological aesthetic treatments. Furthermore, KBIT will support Le Van Thinh Hospital in establishing a high-quality training center and cooperate in developing a specialized hospital model focused on aesthetics and advanced technologies.
Future Vision:
This Memorandum of Understanding is not only a breakthrough in technology and education but also lays a solid foundation for long-term collaboration between both sides, with the goal of transforming Le Van Thinh Hospital into a leading modern medical center in the region. Additionally, this cooperation opens up numerous development opportunities for the aesthetic field in Thu Duc City and Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to improving the quality of medical and beauty services in Vietnam.
Today’s MOU signing marks a new milestone in the collaborative relationship between Vietnam and South Korea in beauty technology, bringing practical benefits to both sides and opening up promising development prospects for the future.
