크론병에서 methotrexate (MTX, 메토트렉세이트)의 임상적 효과와 내약성에 대한 연구는 아직 부족합니다. 최근 저희 센터에서는 한국인 크론병 환자에서 MTX의 임상적 효과와 내약성에 대한 논문을 발표하였습니다. 본 연구결과가 국내 크론병 환자에서 MTX를 최적화하여 사용하는데 도움이 되기를 기대합니다.

In this study, one-third of patients were intolerant to MTX; nonetheless, the response rate was as high as 65.9% among tolerant patients. In addition, no significant factors affected intolerability. In terms of the clinical response, parenteral injection could be better than oral administration.

염증성 장질환 환자는 다양한 감염질환의 위험에 노출되어 있습니다. 최근 저희 센터에서는 염증성 장질환 환자에서 바이러스 감염질환들에 대한 항체 보유율과, 관련인자들을 규명하여 발표하였습니다. 본 연구결과가 국내 염증성 장질환 환자 치료의 질을 향상시키는데 기반이 되기를 기대합니다.
