[Dr. Faysal Yafi Visits Dr. Park & Stand Up Urology]

Dr. Faysal Yafi, Professor of Urology at the University of California, Irvine recently visited Stand Up Prosthetic Urology on March 27th to 28th. During his visit, he observed Dr. Park’s inflatable pe**le implant surgery and engaged in in-depth discussions

Dr. Yafi, who serves as the Director of the Men's Health Center at UC Irvine's Department of Urology, first began collaborating with Dr. Park in 2016 through co-authored papers on topics such as the Mini-Jupette technique for inflatable pe**le prosthesis and differences in surgical outcomes based on types of antibiotics used for pe**le implant coatings in diabetic patients. In 2018, Dr. Yafi visited Dr. Park’s practice, and in 2021, Dr. Park visited UC Irvine, where they discussed various urological conditions, including erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia

Through this recent visit, Dr. Park and Dr. Yafi not only deepened their academic exchange on inflatable implants and male health issues, but also agreed to co-author a new paper and collaborate on relevant research

[Dr. Park Lectures on Pe**le Implants at 1st Wilson Educational Forum]

On January 31st to February 1st, the first Wilson Prosthetic Urology Forum was held in Palm Springs, California and brought together pe**le implant specialists from around the world, including the US, the UK, Germany, South Korea, etc. This forum marked its first meeting of many of the world’s most prominent and experienced experts in prosthetic urology

The Wilson Educational Forum is part of the educational sponsorship activities organized by the Barbara & Steve Wilson Educational Foundation. The forum aims to further advance the field of prosthetic urology by fostering continued interest, and encouraging clinical experience exchanges among expert surgeons

This year’s forum provided comprehensive, in-depth lectures on pe**le prosthesis surgery, its best practices, and patient awareness campaigns. It also served as an opportunity for surgeons to share and discuss their knowledge in the field of prosthetic urology. As one of the board members, Dr. Park helped organize the meeting and gave a lecture about patient awareness with pe**le implant surgery

[1st Wilson Educational Forum - Dr. Park Lectures on Inflatable Pe**le Prosthesis]

Dr. Park attends the 1st Wilson Educational Foundation Forum as one of four board members to lecture on raising more awareness towards pe**le implant surgery.

The Barbara & Steven Wilson Educational Foundation was founded by Dr. Steven Wilson and his wife Barbara Wilson to further the field of prosthetic urology and train the next generation of pe**le implant surgeons.

At this monumental meeting, pe**le implant specialists around the world joined the meeting and discussed about various aspects in pe**le implant surgery and practice in depth.
