This patient was undergoing an orthdontic treatment, and on the verge of big decision whether to give it a try to pull out an impacted(deeply) canine or simply extract it. As seen in the x-ray view, it seemed like not only impacted, but a cystic formation at the crown follicle was also suspected. Finally decided to give it a shot and opened the window. cleaned out the cyst around the crown and put a button on it to begin a tug-o-war. 7 months later, thankfully the tooth has come out to the ideal position and well aligned owing to bracket magic. :) Feels great.

Here's another patient with anterior veneering. She was feeling bad about her front teeth in the sense that they are discolored, abraded, and misaligned. It took quite a while since one tooth was pulled out and implantation was conducted. I like the way it proceeded. Apart from anything else, she liked them!

The patient underwent an implant treatment years ago back in Britain(if I remember correctly), and over time, soft tissue(gingiva) receded/inflamed/swelled a lot and has disclosed metallic component of implant, which could get on nerve when smiling widely.

* Retreatment strategy
1. cover the metallic component as deep as possible
2. make soft tissue surroundings easy to clean
3. reshape the tooth as pretty as possible, including color shades
4. admitting that the tooth length will be elongated.

* After action review
1. I like the tooth shade and shape. Transparency is a little in need of improvement, but considering the thickness of prosthesis allowed to me, this is more than acceptable.
2. Fortunately, unless she smiles super-HAHA, tooth length will appear normal from third person's perspective, which is good.
3. Also, soft tissue environment's got seriously improved, thereby she will be able to clean it up more easily than before, if she opts so.

Gabrielle Hernandez's mother has come to get her crowning and implantation. It was a short stay, 10 days at longest. Her jaw's got 2 new teeth(dental implant) now incubated and will be back for finishing in about 2 months, plus her anterior tooth's newly crowned.

She was so nice and got a great sense of humor(now I see where Gab's punch lines came from), and surprisingly understood every medical term I said, later I found out she's been working as a scrub nurse in states. WOW.

I feel great about treatments done to her and warmth is the word that can describe her the best. Miss her already.

Here she is! Belinda actually was my second BSC patient but I hesitated to post pics because they weren't qualified(ugly me). Decided to wear a mask and tried another shot and now I am confident. haha..

She did some tooth reshaping and is anticipating orthodontic treatment, so it is ongoing story. Look at her smile and see how refined dentitions are already~!

She 's got a sense of esthetics/artist, so can't deny it took me quite a while to reach her standard. Finally here we are :)

(Now she is introducing her friends; Eliana, Cara, and Bianca..... :) )

Irene needed aesthetic dental treatments including bleaching and tooth reshaping. Sad I cannot show the outcome on this page. One thing clear is.... her elder sister IS a dentist in Finland and when Irene sent photos of her teeth, *her sister liked it very much* (confirmed by Irene).

I gave her my word that I will post best shots only, think I kept mine.

Brooke had a deep secondary caries in the molar underneath previous restoration. Treatment went very well, and now she is smiling. She has got two more cavity treatment to go with, thus visiting us this Sat. Look how lovely she is when smiles :)

I extended and renewed bus exterior Ads recently. Two buses were wrapped with my clinic logo, one with Korean Ad, and the other with English.

More and more English-speaking patients are coming now, and I am preparing clinic condition well fit for handling them.

If you like bus Ads, you know what to do. lol

Here's another anterior teeth reshaping case.

She has been living for a long time with proximal caries inbetween incisors.
Her main concern was not only caries treatment, but the overall shape/shade and alignment of anterior dentition.
Thus, restoration of both tooth health and esthetics had to be taken care of.

Overall rate: 4.0/5.0

Shade is good, shape came out as she wanted it(not my preference)
Particularly, closing black triangle(space) will entail soft tissue problem in the future. Therefore, anteriors are in need of frequent professional cleaning. Other than these, treatment outcome is quite nice and neat.

1. Take 2nd opinion other than yours(Family members, friends, etc.)
2. Double check, triple check what you like and don't like about provisional crowns, and let your dentist know.
3. Be patient till you get what you want.
4. Trust your dentist.

Carlo was my first BSC patient. He introduced me to this nice BSC. Thank you bro~

I remember the first day he knocked on my door with a tooth full of pain. He had his crown done this morning(finally!). Now he is smiling(apparently... lol) kinda surprised he is a bike rider.(650cc... no kidding)

Her E-max ceramic crowns make a good match with other teeth in terms of shape/alignment.
Shade-wise, she wanted her teeth brighter than 'normal', saying that way, her smile looks great when photos are taken.

Overall rate: 4.5/5.0
I subtracted 0.5 because of shade disharmony(though it was her request)

I graduated from Seoul national univ, where I did Dentistry major.
and trained in Seoul Nat. Univ Dental Hospital(SNUDH) for 4 years.
there I specialized in prosthodontics(Crowns, bridges, implants etc.)
I spent a period of time in UCLA dental hospital as an externship dentist.
Basically, I am very comfy and confident providing dental services in English.
