I would like to share with you my own health journey to inspire you!

My story with my health journey started 6 years ago. At age 13, I remember starting to hate my body image and wanted to change it. I was surrounded with diet culture and messages. I started following a diet from age 16. I thought being thin and shinny meant happiness and satisfaction. Little did I know it wasn’t true. I tried most dieting supplements claiming results . The definition of health at this time mean a healthy looking body on the outside. On the inside, I was in a bad mental place. When I was 20 , I was ready to let go of my eating disorder as I saw life beyond it along with possibilities. The journey was not easy yet the challenges and frustration I felt revealed my inner strength and resilience. Since then, my definition of health shifted and became holistic. I saw health as physical and mental and spiritual health as connected. Thanks to the support and knowledge I accumulated throughout this time I changed a lot of behaviors. Intuitive eating and mindful eating has improved my relationship with food. My experience showed me my path and passion to help and support people through their struggles as a support system has healing properties. I have tried different approaches and a lot of introspection and self-discovery has helped me overall to be able to listen to my body. My body is temple I value and learnt to take care of it after years of neglect. Your identity is not fixed and a label limits your potential. Once I found my community, I was able to be the best highest version of my self. The struggles made me stronger and wiser. I found my own voice throughout this experience. Thank you life for the opportunities for showing me my way towards happiness and health.
