We have a 67-year-old male who has suffered from Herpes Zoster on the right lumbar region with red rash, fluid-filled blisters and tingling. He took herbal medicine and OTC to get energy and heat that he did not need.
He visits us after 2 days.
We give him bloodletting and cupping therapy. Blisters size increased after cupping, but these treatments make heat come out, decrease red rash and blisters later.

We have a Temporomandibular Joint Disorder case this year. She is a 60-year-old woman who has suffered from pain in her left side jaw for months. Pain and tenderness in the jaw makes her have a hard time while chewing. Locking of the joint makes it hard to open or close her mouth.

After 6 times acupuncture and moxibustion, treatments decrease jaw and facial pain, help muscle relaxation, open and close her mouth easily.

Acupuncture
A 47-year-old female has suffered from Trigger Finger (Stenosing tenosynovitis) on her left side middle and ring finger.
She has finger stiffness, popping sensation, tenderness in the palm, and locking in a bent position. Particularly in the morning.
She took 2 times treatments of acupuncture and moxibustion. It reduces stiffness, locking and pain in the 3rd and 4th metacarpophalangeal joint.

Chinese medicine
A 30-year-old male has experienced dermatitis on his right side arm for more than 1 year. It causes itchiness, rash, swelling, ooze and crust.
After 2 weeks Chinese medicine treatment, it reduces itchiness and swelling, and decreases the area of rash, ooze and crust.

Acupuncture
A 92-year-old female has experienced lower limb edema for a couple of years, including bilateral (right and left side) legs, knees, ankles and feet.
Lower limb edema is a common and challenging problem for older people. It is caused by increasing fluid in the tissues, leading to swelling and pain.
I choose spleen meridian acu-points nearby to reduce the fluid in the tissue, and stomach meridian acu-points to stronger spleen meridian.

Acupuncture
A 28-year-old male catch cough, mild nasal congestion, and low back pain.
For cough and nasal congestion, the principles of treatment are replenishing and restoring lung QI, and cleaning heat.
For low back pain, the principles of treatment are relieving and activating meridians, and reducing back pain.
We also see signs of QI, the red part around the neddle.

This year i got a special case, a 15 year old dog (male). He is brave to take acupuncture to treat lower limbs swelling and fatigue a few days before dying, caused by bone cancer and aging. The next day swelling decreased, which means Qi still works in his body.
