Our Respiratory Therapy team just got even stronger!
We’re now offering a 7-day on-call rota so you can truly breathe a little easier.
And we’re thrilled to welcome Nikita Mantri to the team! With a Master’s in Cardio-Respiratory Physiotherapy, she brings not just expertise, but a real passion for helping people live and breathe better.
Here’s her bio, so you can see why we’re so excited to have her on board…
“Nikita is a physiotherapist with a focused expertise in cardiovascular and respiratory physiotherapy. Her clinical experience spans hospital, intensive care, and outpatient settings, both locally and internationally, where she has played a vital role in managing complex cardio-respiratory conditions and promoting pulmonary and cardiac recovery.
Her core competencies include cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, post-operative respiratory care, weaning support in ICU, and exercise prescription for cardiac and pulmonary conditions. She is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care, aiming to restore optimal respiratory function, improve cardiac endurance, and enhance quality of life.
In her previous role as Senior Cardiac Physiotherapist and Head of Department at Ram Mangal Heart Foundation Hospital in India, Nikita was instrumental in designing and implementing structured cardiac rehabilitation programs for both inpatient and outpatient populations. She also contributed to community health initiatives focused on heart and lung health education, early intervention, and long-term management.
In addition to her cardio-respiratory specialization, she brings experience in post-surgical physiotherapy, sports injury care, and elderly rehabilitation, often integrating advanced techniques such as kinesiotaping, manual therapy, and electrotherapy to support holistic recovery.
Nikita earned her Master’s in Physiotherapy (Cardiovascular and Respiratory Physiotherapy) from Sancheti Institute & College of Physiotherapy (Pune), graduating first in her university under MUHS. She also holds a Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy from M.A. Rangoonwala College of Physiotherapy, Pune.
Besides being a physiotherapist, Nikita has keen interest in learning different dance forms.”
