Dr. Chen Christine, MD/ Pediatrician has joined The Surgery.

Dr Chen Graduated from the University Hospital of the West Indies in 1999 with her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

Graduated from Jackson Memorial Hospital as Pediatrician in 2007

Internship at The Kingston Public Hospital, Victoria Jubilee Hospital, and The Bustamante Hospital for Children 1999 - 2000

Worked in the emergency room and pediatric medical ward at The Bustamante Hospital for Children in Jamaica from 2001 - 2004

Pediatric residency training at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami 2004 - 2007

General pediatric practice in Jamaica 2007 - 2010

General pediatric practice in Cayman 2010 to present

Actively involved with The Children's Health Task Force offering nutritional presentations to daycares and schools. Involved in community educational presentations and career day activities.

Dr. Bell brings expertise and compassionate care to our patients, ensuring you receive the highest quality of medical attention.

Dr. Bell a physician with 30+ of experience working in Emergency Rooms and General Practice Health Centers across the Caribbean (Jamaica, Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands), and 10 years in Family Medicine practice at The Cayman Islands. He has also completed postgraduate Geriatric subspecialty training from The University of the West Indies, Mona campus, and now serve as first Geriatrician at The Cayman Islands.

Dr. Glaister Bell will be dedicated to the specialized care and treatment of patients 60 years and over. Older people living in the Cayman Islands will now be able to access specialized geriatric medical care through The Surgery located at the Smith Road Medical Plaza.

Geriatric medical care involves the study, diagnosis and treatment of diseases or conditions associated with older adults, including multiple chronic conditions, functional decline, dementia and frailty.
