Cayman AIDS Foundation

Cayman AIDS Foundation Join us in our fight against HIV/AIDS—because together, we can make a difference. We believe that:
All people have equal intrinsic worth. People need each other.

Cayman AIDS Foundation (CAF) is dedicated to raising awareness, providing education, and offering support for individuals affected by HIV/AIDS in the Cayman Islands. The Cayman AIDS Foundation (CAF) is a community based organisation which provides education on the danger of, helps prevent the spread of, and gives support and guidance to all people living with and affected by, HIV & AIDS and STI's. The spiritual nature of human beings must find positive expression in order for life to have meaning and purpose. Each individual is ultimately responsible for his or her actions. Each person has the right to be safe and healthy. The family is the primary vehicle/unit of moral values and health education. Education is vital for the survival and progress of a society.

Let’s educate ourselves and others about HIV prevention, treatment, and breaking the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS.

HIV is not a death sentence — with early detection and proper treatment, people living with HIV can lead long, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Prevention starts with awareness: know your status, practice safe s*x, use protection, and consider regular testing as part of your routine health care.
Treatment through antiretroviral therapy (ART) helps reduce the viral load to undetectable levels — meaning it can’t be passed on (“Undetectable = Untransmittable”).
Together, we must replace fear with facts, judgment with compassion, and discrimination with understanding. Knowledge saves lives, but kindness changes them.
