November is Men's Health Month and we are supporting all the bros in raising awareness on issues affecting men's health this

Here are three men's health concerns we're highlighting:

1️⃣ Prostate Cancer
It's the second most diagnosed cancer in men worldwide. In the Caribbean, it's even more prevalent.
✅Early detection is key. Get tested for Prostate Cancer

2️⃣ Testicular Cancer
While it's rare in the Cayman Islands, it's crucial to stay vigilant, especially for men under 40. Regular self-checks are a must!
✅If you find a lump, swelling, or any other changes, get it checked right away.

3️⃣ Mental Health
It's okay to talk about your feelings, guys. Let's break the stigma together.
✅Reach out to a man who is going through tough times using the ALEC guide (Ask, Listen, Encourage Action, Check-in.)

HSA staff raise over $11,000 to aid Jamaica’s Medical Recovery

In continued support for Jamaica’s post-recovery efforts following Hurricane Melissa, the Health Services Authority (HSA) staff have raised more than $11,000 through its HSA Cares programme.

Funded by voluntary employee salary donations, the amount was raised in less than four days, an impressive demonstration of teamwork driven by compassion. The funds were used to purchase urgently needed medical supplies, as requested by Jamaica through the Cayman Islands Medical Relief Emergency Support Team (EST), part of the National Emergency Operations Centre (NEOC) Human Concerns Cluster.
