✨ Today is Random Acts of Kindness Day ✨

A reminder that small moments can make a big difference.

A smile.
A kind word.
Holding the door.
Checking in on someone who may be struggling.

Kindness does not have to be loud or grand. Often, it is the quiet acts that matter most.

Today, and every day, let’s choose kindness for ourselves and for others 🤍

Our KidsAbility team was proud to take part in the Addison Kelly Butterfly Walk, standing alongside our community to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and support mental health across the Cayman Islands.

Mental health matters at every age, and events like this remind us how powerful it is when a community comes together with compassion, connection, and hope. Thank you to the organisers, families, and supporters who continue to champion this important cause.

Together, we walk. Together, we support. 🦋

Thank you to St Ignatius Catholic School for inviting our Occupational Therapist Arianna McCoy to present in celebration of Black History Month through the lens of Caymanian history and experience.

Arianna spoke to 270 students about her journey in her talk, “Staying, Leaving and Coming Back: Education, Mobility and Giving Back,” sharing how pursuing education abroad and returning home has shaped her purpose and passion for giving back.

We are so proud to see Caymanian representation inspiring the next generation.

We were so happy to take part in the career fair today.

At KidsAbility, we are proud to support children and families through speech therapy, occupational therapy, and psychology, and it was wonderful to share these career paths with students.

A special highlight was our Occupational Therapist, Arianna McCoy, who presented about her journey as a Caymanian entering the field of occupational therapy. We are incredibly proud of the passion and dedication she brings to her work and the example she sets for students considering this path.

We loved meeting students who are curious and excited about exploring careers in helping professions. The future of paediatric therapy is bright 🌟

• Key building blocks including strength, coordination, bilateral skills, and hand dominance

• How posture, core strength, and sensory input support hand skills
• The connection between fine motor skills, self-care, and school readiness

Practical strategies for home and daily care:
• Play-based activities using everyday household items
• Easy ways to build hand strength, coordination, and endurance
• Fine motor support during mealtimes, play, dressing, and daily routines
