☀️ The two most common types of skin cancer are basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). ☀️

Here’s the main difference:

Basal Cell Carcinoma:
•Most common form
•Slow growing
•Often appears as a pearly bump or patch
•Rarely spreads, but can cause local damage if untreated

Squamous Cell Carcinoma:
•Can grow more quickly
•May appear as a scaly red patch or open sore
•Has a higher risk of spreading if not treated early

Both are highly treatable when caught early, which makes awareness and regular skin checks essential. 🔍

Protect your skin. Pay attention to changes. Act early! ☀️

Not all skin cancers look obvious. 👀

While melanoma often gets the spotlight, non-melanoma skin cancers can be more subtle and harder to detect without a professional exam. 🕵🏻

Basal and squamous cell carcinoma’s may appear as:
* small persistent bumps
* Scaly or rough patches
* Sores that don’t heal
* Areas that bleed easily

These are easy to overlook or mistake for harmless skin issues.

That’s why routine skin checks matter. Early detection means simpler treatment, and better outcomes!
