Your Questions Answered..
Pediatric Edition!

First, let’s re-introduce our Pediatric Specialist - Dr.Sean Childers! •Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry •20 years experience •Qualified Provider of Oral Sedation

Q: When should my child have their 1st dental appointment?
A: We recommend having a checkup within 6 months of the first tooth erupting (approx. Age 1) - this allows children to become more comfortable with the sights/sounds of the office + allows for early detection

Q: What should I use to clean my child’s teeth?
A: This is patient/age specific. Generally, brushing/flossing/fluoride toothpaste + monitoring sugar-intake will ensure a healthy mouth!

Q: My child has a cavity, do we really need to fix baby teeth?
A: Some “baby teeth” will remain in your child’s mouth until they are nearly teenagers. These teeth play a vital role in the development of their permanent teeth, so maintenance is key!

“Do I really need an x-ray?”

The answer to this commonly asked question is..it depends!

So..why? Routine dental x-rays help us catch smaller issues that cannot necessarily be seen with just a visual examination - before they have the opportunity to progress into a larger issue.
Remember, each patient has different needs! Those who have a history of decay, gum disease, or developmental concerns may need to have more frequent x-rays than someone with a generally healthy mouth.

Yes, our X-rays are digital ! This means less radiation, better images, and a more comfortable experience🤟

A big team for a big dream.

7 Dental is evolving every day, and each of our team members plays an integral part.
New technologies, updated training, and an expanding clinic.
We are 7Dental!

Also, are we giving the Selling Sunset cast a run for their money? 🤣

A different perspective.

Beautiful, natural-looking veneers.
Many patients first concern is not wanting their teeth to look fake or too bulky. The trick is attention to detail: appropriate shade, size, and realistic contours.

Tech Talk : 3D printing

Gone are the days of gooey impression trays. Our digital system includes a scanner that records every detail of the mouth. These scans are then sent to our 3D printer which is used for:
• producing dental models for fabrication of nightguards and retainers
• producing prototypes for larger reconstructive cases or orthodontics
• producing surgical guides for implant placement

To SIMPLIFY…we can print an exact model of your teeth for several uses 😂
