🌿 Protecting Our Future: Free HPV Vaccination Drive 🌿

Cayman Clinic is proud to partner in the annual, free HPV vaccination drive for school-age children and young adults (males and females), ages 9–25.

📍 Where:
Cayman Clinic: 439 Crewe Road.

📅 When:
Starting September 1st

💉 The Gardasil 9 vaccine protects against certain strains of HPV, a virus linked to cervical, oral, and throat cancers. By choosing vaccination, we’re taking proactive steps to prevent cancer before it occurs.

This initiative, supported by the Ministry of Health, brings care directly to our community and ensures every young person has the chance to be protected.

Free HIV Testing Offered Islandwide for HIV Testing Week

In recognition of HIV Testing Day on 27 June, the Public Health Department of the Health Services Authority (HSA) together with the Cayman Islands Red Cross and the Cayman AIDS Foundation is urging residents to take proactive steps toward their well-being by getting tested.

Throughout the week, free and confidential HIV testing will be available at various community health centres and pop-up sites, with trained healthcare professionals and counselors on hand to provide guidance, support, and education.

🏊‍♀️🌊 Today’s Medical Coverage Update — PANAM Aquatics 10K Open Water Swim 2025 🌊🏊‍♂️

🩺 What We’re Doing and 🤝 Why It Matters
* On-Water Support: Qualified medical personnel, including Dr Tanushree Perry (Integra) were in rescue boats ready to assist swimmers in progress.
* Shore-Side Triage: Dr Melissa Mascaro staffed the medical tent near the finish line with comprehensive first-aid, hydration, and evaluation resources.
* Heat & Hydration Monitoring: Special attention was being paid to swimmer hydration status and environmental heat factors throughout the race and reviewed at the pre race medical exam.

Open water swimming events are exhilarating and physically demanding. Our presence helped guarantee that every participant could focus on performance and safety.
