We are so proud to announce the promotion of our occupational therapist Emma Ralph to Team Lead! Emma has been a part of the Theraplay team for the past 5 years, bringing a wealth of paediatric experience to support infants, toddlers and school-aged children to our diverse Cayman community. Emma has furthered her expertise over the years with investment into advancing her therapeutic knowledge of sensory integration through formal certification, as well as gaining further skills to support coregulation between parent and child, and supporting children with picky eating.

Emma has transitioned from her role as program lead, where she developed our Baby & Me series infant motor classes, would oversee our educational groups, and coordinated behind the scenes our annual sensory-friendly trick-or-treat.

Emma’s calm leadership, clinical expertise in sensory integration and early intervention, and commitment to collaborative, family-centred care makes us excited to see her continue supporting our families while guiding and mentoring our therapy team in this new role.

Big congratulations, Emma! We can’t wait to see how Cayman Theraplay will continue to develop with your support!

We’re so pleased to welcome Corlia, our paediatric Occupational Therapist, to the Cayman Theraplay team.

Corlia brings a wealth of experience supporting babies, toddlers, and young children across hospital, clinic, and school settings, including NICU and paediatric wards, early learning environments, and community-based care. Her work is grounded in play, connection, and evidence-based practice, with a strong focus on helping children build practical skills for everyday life.

Corlia supports children with a wide range of needs, including developmental delays, prematurity, sensory processing differences, ASD, ADHD, learning challenges, cerebral palsy, and physical or genetic conditions.

Her approach centres on early intervention, regulation, independence in daily activities, and confident participation at home and school.

She is trained in Ayres Sensory Integration® and works closely with families, caregivers, and educators to ensure therapy feels meaningful, supportive, and achievable for each child.

Rolston’s transformation over the last 2 years has been nothing short of powerful. We are honored to be a part of his remarkable journey, and to play a role in his development to reach his own potential.

His growth has been a reminder of what can happen when a child feels safe, understood, and supported. We’re so grateful to walk this journey with him and his family.

At Cayman Theraplay, occupational therapy (OT) and speech & language therapy (SLP) work side by side, because children don’t develop in isolated areas.
Movement, sensory regulation, attention, and communication are deeply connected.

When therapists collaborate, we’re able to look at the whole child, not just one skill at a time.

Having OT and Speech & Language under one roof means:
• shared goals and consistent strategies
• less repetition for families
• better carryover into home and school
• support that reflects how children actually learn and grow

This team-based approach allows us to create clearer plans, stronger foundations, and more meaningful progress for children and families.

Get in touch to learn how our multidisciplinary approach can support your child’s development.

We’re offering three focused programs: February 16-20

Parent, Play, Eat (PPE) is a small, Occupational Therapist–led feeding group that supports food exploration and mealtime routines through sensory-based strategies and personalised guidance for families.

Handwriting (HW) targets the foundations behind comfortable writing, including posture, grip, strength, endurance, and motor planning, with practical strategies families can use at home.

Literacy focuses on the building blocks that support early reading success, including language skills, sound awareness, attention, and confidence with print.

Early payment discounts: 10% off when registering for a single program, or 15% off when bundling Handwriting and Literacy.
