Bonnie Prislovsky Harvey, 89, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed peacefully from her earthly home on March 6, 2026. She was born on October 4, 1936, in Stuttgart, Arkansas. Bonnie is now reunited with a heavenly host of loved ones, including her parents, Johnny and Lois Prislovsky; her husband, Ed Harvey; her brother, Johnny Prislovsky (Flo); and her son, Mark Guffin.
She is survived by her daughters Darby Harvey and Jill Pryor; grandchildren Adams (Michela) Pryor and Porter (Jack) Pryor; great-grandchildren Raven and Zia Pryor and Charlotte Guffin; daughter-in-law Jackie Guffin; grandson Mark (Margaret) Guffin; Blaine Guffin and many other relatives and close friends.
After graduating from the University of Arkansas, Bonnie began her fashion career in Dallas, Texas, working with Neiman Marcus. In 1972 she opened the first of what would become many successful clothing stores in Little Rock. Bonnie was a pioneer of women’s fashion and a respected leader in the industry, known for her vision, style, and entrepreneurial spirit.
In 1983 Bonnie met and married the love of her life, Ed Harvey. Together they shared a love of travel and spent many years exploring the world with family and friends, creating cherished memories along the way.
Bonnie’s life was grounded in a deep faith in God, which served as her compass and brought her strength, hope, and gratitude. She had a servant’s heart and continually gave to others in need, both emotionally and financially.
Bonnie’s happy place was Grand Cayman. She spent many years growing her faith at Cayman Islands Baptist Church and forming lifelong friendships there.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to both Dr. Laurence Baum and from the Jasmine Palliative & Hospice Care Dr. Lauren Goodman, Tracy and Samantha (caregivers), Marvin, Dwight, Leslie and Sharon, whose compassionate care and steady presence were a profound blessing during Bonnie’s final season.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm on Saturday April 11 2026 at The Sovereign. In honour of Bonnie, those attending are welcome to wear a touch of white, her favourite colour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jasmine Hospice & Palliative Care.
Her beloved Pastor Randy Von Kanel, will return to officiate.
