Due to rising tensions along the Thai-Cambodian border, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has issued a no-go list of areas across seven provinces to ensure your safety and help with travel planning.

⛈ Laos is expected to experience isolated 𝐭𝐡𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲 𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥 from 16 to 18 July.

On 16 July, widespread rain will affect Phongsaly, Xayabouly, Xaysomboun, Vientiane, Khammouane, Savannakhet, and other central-southern provinces.

Rain will intensify on 17 July, reaching Luang Namtha, Bokeo, Oudomxay, Xayabouly, Luang Prabang, and some central provinces, including Vientiane and Bolikhamxay.

By 18 July, downpours will continue over parts of Saravanh, Attapeu, Champasack, and Sekong.

Residents in flood-prone areas are advised to stay alert for flash floods and rising river levels.

🍃 Champasak-Spa will be closed on the 14 -15 - 16 and 17 April 25 🍃

During 3 days, traditional festivities and Buddhist ceremonies can be observed all over Laos, but also Thailand, Myamnar, Cambodgia and Sri Lanka, which followed the Buddhism Theravada.

I recommend to stay the 3 days in the same area ; plan to arrive on the 13th, leaving after the festival from the 17th.
