🧒 How to Tell If Your Child Needs to See a Psychomotor Therapist? 🧠

As parents, we want the best for our children, including their mental and physical well-being. Knowing when to consult a psychomotor therapist can make a big difference in their development. Here are some signs to watch out for:

1️⃣ Coordination Problems 🚶: If your child has difficulty coordinating movements, walking, jumping, or holding a pencil, it may indicate a need for support.

Rett syndrome is a rare genetic neurological and developmental disorder that disrupts the way the brain develops, resulting in progressive movement and verbal impairment.

➖This disorder primarily affects girls 👧🏻.

➖It is estimated to affect about 1 in 12,000 girls born each year and is only rarely seen in boys.

➖Most babies with Rett syndrome begin to develop normally for the first 6 to 18 months of their lives, then lose skills like crawling, walking, communicating, and using their hands.
