An epic ESCRS meeting in Barcelona with a record attendance and loads of contributions! Ours were on CAIRS & customized laser surgery for Keratoconus, CLEAR lenticule surgery, AI model to diagnose Keratoconus based solely on pachymetry, and more. Happy to catch up with friends and colleagues all along.

Check out our publication in this issue of the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. We evaluated the repeatability of pyramidal aberrometry in highly aberrated eyes of Keratoconus patients and compared it to normal eyes. Conclusion: You can confidently perform ocular wavefront-guided laser treatments on Keratoconus eyes.

I was delighted to participate in the British Society for Refractive Surgery in Oxford, UK. It was a privilege to share my experience in CAIRS for keratoconus, CLEAR lenticule surgery, customized laser ablation, how to deal with ICRS complications, and OCT technology. I also gained invaluable insights from incredibly smart international and UK colleagues. Many thanks to Colm McAlinden and Valerie Saw, President of BSRS, for the kind invitation.

Check out our latest publication in the Journal of Refractive Surgery! We've developed a deep learning convolutional neural network model trained on synthetic generative adversarial network-generated OCT scans to measure the actual ICL vault accurately. This model was validated and tested on real OCT scans, yielding enhanced measurements in extreme vault values. Special thanks to Jad F. Assaf and Hady Yazbeck for their leadership in designing and implementing this study, along with our international collaborators Dan Reinstein, Timothy Archer, Juan Arbelaez, and Maria Clara Arbelaez, and our core team members Yara Bteich and Anthony Abou Mrad.
