Rouba El Asmar, a licensed and certified dietician, graduated from Notre Dame University in 2008 with a degree in Clinical Nutrition with high distinction. She is currently a member of The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (previously known as American Dietetic Association) and runs a private clinic in Achrafieh, Beirut. She helps a wide range of patients that include over-weight children and adu
lts, adolescents with eating disorders, patients with diabetes, hyper-lipidemia, hyper-tension and other metabolic disorders. She also works with pregnant women from conception to birth providing them with healthy eating plans that make their pregnancies more comfortable while providing their babies with the necessary nutrition for good development and perfect deliveries. Her work is also based on behavioral therapy dealing with psychological as well as the eating habits that lead to health problems. Worked on several projects of which, TSC chain of retailing and as presenter on MBC 4 Dr. Chef as food safety consultant. Now leading a Nutrition& Food Safety project at Sagesse High School, Ain Saadeh. Rouba El Asmar, stays up to date by continuing her education through participating in conferences all through out the year on health and nutrition issues . Her clinic is equipped with latest technology to facilitate an advanced assessment of patients making her one of the leading experts in the field in Lebanon.
