Syndicate of Pharmaceutical Industries in Lebanon SPIL SPIL was founded in 2016.

It comprises all the pharmaceutical manufacturers granted an authorization for exploitation of pharmaceutical plant according to the international good manufacturing practices by the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health.

Mrs. Joumana Jaber, Board Member of SPIL and Regulatory, Medical & External Affairs Lead at Algorithm, proudly represented SPIL at the 10th Lebanese Pharmaceutical Symposium organized by the LPSA.

In her engaging session with pharmacy students, Mrs. Jaber delivered an insightful overview of the Lebanese pharmaceutical industry, shedding light on its vital role in advancing public health, stimulating the economy, and creating valuable job opportunities for the Lebanese workforce.

SPIL also connected directly with the students through an interactive Q&A competition, fostering meaningful dialogue and knowledge exchange.

Mrs. Joumana Jaber, Board Member of SPIL and Regulatory, Medical, and External Affairs Lead at Algorithm, represented SPIL at the conference organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy – USJ.
During her intervention in the roundtable titled “Insights from the Pharmaceutical Industry and Patient Associations,” Mrs. Jaber presented an overview of the Lebanese pharmaceutical industry, highlighting its role during and after the crisis, its impact on the health and economic sectors in Lebanon, and its contribution to job creation for the Lebanese workforce.
