A milestone moment for veterinary ophthalmology 🐾
SOLMED is proud to support the first Cyclo G6 laser case on a Husky Dog, performed at beirutpethospital , using the Cyclo G6 by IRIDEX (USA) — an advanced glaucoma laser featuring both Continuous Wave (CW) and Micropulse (MP3) technologies for effective and gentle glaucoma management.

Solmed LB is honored to have received AUBMC - American University of Beirut Medical Center’s approval to provide the Paul Glaucoma Implant, invented by Paul Chew for their glaucoma patients.

“After a long wait, the Paul Implant has finally arrived, and we’re already seeing promising hands-on results. Fingers crossed for the many glaucoma patients who stand to benefit,” said Prof. Bahaa Noureddine, Head of the Ophthalmology Department and Glaucoma Specialist at AUBMC.

A virtual reality-based visual field analyzer that combines accuracy with convenience. This wearable device offers a comprehensive suite of tests, including full and fast threshold visual field testing, FDT, color vision assessments, contrast sensitivity, and more. Its Active Eye Tracking feature ensures precise results by pausing tests when fixation is lost, enhancing reliability.
