Dr. Samantha Sukkar is a Clinical Instructor of Medicine and Attending Physician in Anesthesiology at LAU Medical Centers. She also serves as Site Director of the Anesthesiology Residency Program at LAUMC–Saint John Hospital.
A graduate of LAU’s School of Medicine, Dr. Sukkar trained in Lebanon and France, specializing in obstetric and regional anesthesia, pain management, and clinical simulation. She completed a two-year fellowship in Chronic Pain at Université Paris Cité.
Passionate about patient-centered care, Dr. Sukkar focuses on integrating pain therapies into perioperative practice. She is also dedicated to medical education and mentorship, shaping the next generation of anesthesiologists.

-Providing individual support to in-patients in various divisions across the hospital
-Providing out-patient psychological services
-Collaborating with the medical team in weekly rounds
