In the past few months, I had the privilege of working closely with inspiring psychologist volunteers who taught me the true meaning of dedication and compassion.
Maysam Alameddine, Clinical Psychologist and , working with you under the LOPsy Emergency Response-child unit has been nothing short of inspiring. Your kindness and expertise brought hope to so many. I’m so fortunate to have both of you as colleagues and friends.
j.jana , , Aya Hamadeh, Narjis Mansour, Mona Nour Eddin, and Lara Abdallah, collaborating with you through the AUBMC Psychiatry Department initiative showed me the power of teamwork and care in action.
working alongside you is a constant reminder of the strength we have when we come together.
And to all the volunteers, you are the true heroes. I may not name everyone individually, but I see you. I see your courage in visiting shelters, your kindness in every call with beneficiaries, and your dedication as you open your clinics to those in need.
This work wouldn’t be possible without your kindness and your willingness to step up, even when it’s hard. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for reminding me that even in the darkest times, we can find light in each other.
Together, we are making a difference, one step at a time. 💙
