“Let medicine be your food and food be your medicine” said Hippocrates, the man who is reputed to be the father of western medicine. Somehow or other we have lost this sense of the value of food just as we lost the practice of energetic medicine. In the latter part of this century we have increasingly looked to the east to replace this loss given that the eastern region is still less "infected" by

the American diet trends and tend to eat more whole foods coming directly from the nature including whole grains, fruits, vegetables, sprouts, herbs, etc... . One of the basic principles of eating is that we should eat according to who we are. There is no such thing therefore as the universally applicable “perfect” diet. Each person will have a different constitution and therefore different nutritional needs. Together we will learn that each and every one of us is unique and therefore, needs a different diet according to their gender, age, and body type. We will also learn that food alone will not heal us and that there is some additional factors that affect our life such as relationships, career, spirituality and physical activity. Those will be our food as well, and when all of these elements are in harmony, we will know the sense of wellness. Ready for the healthy journey?

In times of uncertainty and turmoil, prioritizing your health can feel overwhelming. Yet, even amidst the chaos of war, we can find ways to nurture our well-being. Here are some tips to help you stay grounded and resilient:

1. Stay Connected: Reach out to friends and loved ones. Support networks are vital for emotional health.

2. Mindful Breathing: Take a few moments each day to practice deep breathing. It can help reduce anxiety and center your thoughts.

3. Physical Movement: Even small amounts of movement can boost your mood. Try stretching or simple exercises at home.

4. Establish Routines: A sense of normalcy can be comforting. Create daily routines to provide structure to your day.

5. Limit News Intake: Stay informed, but don't overwhelm yourself with constant updates. Set specific times to check news sources.

6. Seek Professional Support: If you're feeling overwhelmed, don't hesitate to reach out to a mental health professional (health coach, psycholigist, etc...)
