A drill on the activation of our Mass Casualty Management Plan was conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) and World Health Organization (WHO) on Saturday August 3rd. The primary objective of the MCM drill was to assess our hospital’s readiness and effectiveness in handling large-scale emergencies. The drill aimed to evaluate the hospital’s procedures, coordination, and overall preparedness for real-life scenarios involving large-scale distribution of medical interventions.

The drill was executed smoothly, accurately and in a timely manner with effective coordination among departments. Teamwork among hospital staff was creditable, with clear roles and responsibilities contributing to the successful ex*****on of the drill. All staff members were familiar with the specific protocols for handling the simulated scenario.

On July 18, 2024, Dr. Hassan Ramadan presented a lecture titled "Cefixime in UTI" at Haigazian University, hosted by Trad Hospital and the American Alumni Association of Lebanon (AAAL). The lecture provided valuable insights into infection treatment and showcased the latest medical advancements to the attending doctors. After the lecture, the doctors participated in active discussions.

On behalf of Trad Hospital and AAAL, Dr. Sami Rayshouny presented Dr. Hassan Ramadan with a certificate of appreciation.

A lecture about ovarian cysts, presented by Dr. Hana Itani, was held on May 23rd 2024 in collaboration between Trad Hospital and American Alumni Association (AAAL).

After being introduced and welcomed by Dr. Sami Rayshouny at the main hall of Haigazian University, Dr. Itani presented valuable scientific information on the topic of ovarian cysts to physician attendees.
Following the lecture, everyone participated in a cocktail reception.
