C-section Awareness Month 🤍

Birth doesn’t pause… even when the world feels heavy.

And right now, there are mamas giving birth in ways they didn’t plan, didn’t expect, or didn’t even have time to process.

So let’s remember this:

A C-section is not the “easy way out.”
It is major surgery.
It is strength.
It is surrender.
It is love choosing safety.

Easter reminds us that life is not the absence of pain… but the transformation through it.

Today, across borders, across grief, across histories—mothers are standing together.
Israeli mothers. Palestinian mothers.
Not as sides… but as hearts.

They are asking for the same thing every mother has ever asked for:
Let our children live.

This is the essence of rebirth.
Not only rising again… but choosing humanity again.

Motherhood is not political.
It is primal. It is protective. It is life itself.

Because women are the portals of life
we carry it, we birth it, we hold it, we grieve it.

And maybe the world doesn’t need more power right now
it needs more mothers, more women,
who refuse to let life be taken.

For a long time,
I have been supporting families…
before birth, after birth,
through baby care, postpartum, and all the transitions in between.

But over the years,
and through my own experiences as a mother…
I realized something deeply important:

✨ We are not meant to go through this alone.

Yes, prenatal classes matter.
Yes, preparation is important.

But having someone there with you…
someone who advocates for you,
who supports you emotionally, physically,
who stays with you through every moment…

That changes everything.

A doula is not just support.
She is presence.

She is the one who holds your hand,
who breathes with you,
who helps create a calm, safe space around you…

Whether it’s a natural birth,
with epidural, unmedicated, induced,
a C-section, a home birth, or a water birth.

Through my journey…
through the challenges, the vulnerability,
and through my own experience with Aiden 🤍
I felt how powerful it is to have that kind of support.

And that’s when I knew…
I wanted to go deeper.

My doula saw that in me
and invited me to be part of ,
where I trained with
to become a certified doula.

Not just to learn…
but to serve, support, and advocate for families
through one of the most important transitions of their lives.

And today… in 2026…
this vision has grown even bigger.

✨ To bring this care to Lebanon.
✨ To build and grow the presence of doulas here.
✨ To support families through birth, postpartum, and even loss…
with more gentleness, more awareness, and more support.

Because every family deserves
to go through this transition feeling held. 🤍

This week reminded me of something deep…

On World Doula Week,
we also had “Say Their Name” day on March 25th.

And for me… that name is Aiden 🤍

When I went through loss,
I realized something no one talks about enough—

A doula is not only for birth.

A doula is for the moments
where you are breaking,
transitioning,
becoming.

I was held…
by a sister .land
and by a doula who walked with me through it all.

A special thank you to my doula, my cheerleader in this journey,
You held me in ways I will never forget.

And to & for certifying me as a doula
this path started with you.

Today, this is why I do what I do.

Because this kind of support
is not a luxury…

it’s a need.
Especially here in Lebanon.

We deserve to be held
in birth, in loss, and in everything in between.

This is just the beginning…
