Little women (2019)
The seventh film adaptation of the 1868 novel of the same name by Louisa May Alcott. It tells the story of a poor family with 4 girls, throught the writings of the second daughter Jo March, a special lady and writer with bright and revolutionary opinions about the society and the roles of women in it.

Jo refused that love and marriage are the only place for a woman to thrive.
Meg, the oldest, on the contrary saw the life of a house wife as an achievement on its own.
Amy, the painter that aims to be recognised and great, who also wants to love and be loved.
And last is Beth the youngest, calmest, and the most fragile among her sisters.

It's a beautiful film showing the happiness, and solidarity althought in poverty, the strength and talents of 4 young ladies struggling, as everyone does in life.

Becoming jane (2007)
A British-Irish biographical romantic drama film.
It depicts the early life of the British well known author Jane Austen, her lasting love for Thomas Langlois Lefroy and her journey to write "First Impressions", the manuscript that will become "Pride and Prejudice".

Jane Austen is the youngest daughter of the Reverend George Austen and his wife, who have yet to find a suitable husband for Jane. She aspires to be a writer, to the dismay of her mother and proud delight of her father. Her belonging to a poor family made her marriage to the man she loved impossible, so altought all their fighting and attempt to run together, she chose not to marry him.
"Yes, but if our love destroys your family, then it will destroy itself, in a long, slow degradation of guilt and regret and blame."

Twenty years later, rejecting many proposals for marriage, Jane, a successful author and by choice unmarried, sees Tom during a gathering, meets his daughter whom he named Jane sitting by our writer as she reads aloud from her book "Pride and Prejudice".

About time (2013)
What if every moment in life came with a second chance?
Tim Lake grows up in Cornwall, in a house by the sea with his family. At the age of 21, Tim learns from his father James that the men of his family have the secret ability to travel back in time, to moments they have lived before. James discourages his son from using his gift to acquire money or fame, and Tim decides he will use it to improve his love life and family moments. This ability was restricted by respecting some very important events that should not be changed. He learns to appreciate every moment with his loved ones and that many things can not be changed.

Now in real life, don't we have a second chance to every moment in the moment that follows? ❤

Mr. Nobody (2009) is a science fiction drama film that tells the life story of Nemo Nobody, a 118-year-old man who is the last mortal on Earth after the human race has achieved quasi-immortality. Nemo, memory fading, refers to his three main loves and to his parents' divorce and subsequent hardships endured at three critical junctions in his life: at age nine, fifteen, and thirty-four. Alternate life paths branching out from each of those critical junctions are examined. The speculative narrative often changes course with the flick of a different possible decision at each of those ages.

"Every path is the right path. Everything could've been anything else. And it would have just as much meaning." ~Nemo Nobody

Like in M. C. escher's *Drawing Hands* lithograph, choice and meaning draw one another into existence.
The belief in choice creates our need for meaning. And the need for meaning creates the belief in choice.

Making a choice determines which of the infinite possible universes is the one you live in. Combined with the idea of the butterfly effect, that a small change can have enormous consequences, this makes every choice seem almost monumentally significant and difficult to decide.

At the end of the road, does it matter which direction we choose? Is any of this even real?

Spirited away (2001)

•In this animated feature by noted Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki, 10-year-old Chihiro and her parents stumble upon a seemingly abandoned amusement park. After her mother and father are turned into giant pigs, Chihiro meets the mysterious Haku, who explains that the park is a resort for supernatural beings who need a break from their time spent in the earthly realm, and that she must work there to free herself and her parents.

Some of the life lessons found in it:

• Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes.

• Never be motivated by your greed. Chihiro was primarily motivated by a purpose – rescuing her parents.

• Help others on their purposeful journey to the destination. When you help people around you with your generosity and tenacity, people feel the gratitude to help you back even if you don’t ask for it.

• Show your gratitude and say thanks to the people who have ever helped you in any way.

• Continued determination is the key to success.

• Keep faith in your action irrespective of the outcome. Eventually it will pay off.

• Don’t be content with the precious gifts you have received without working hard for having them. They are illusionary and treacherous and can betray you at any point in time.

We hope you enjoy watching it soon, very recommended!
And if you have watched it before, we would love to hear your thoughts :)

The professor and the madman (2019)

It is an extraordinary true tale of madness, genius, and obsession about two remarkable men who created history with the writing of the Oxford English Dictionary.

We often see the final product but we ignore what it took its creators to achieve it. Sometimes life unfolds in a way that reality bacomes more hard to believe than fiction.

The beaver (2011)

Walter, a depressed executive, hits rock-bottom when his wife kicks him out of the house. At his lowest point, he begins to use a beaver hand puppet to communicate with people and overcome his issues.

Maybe we all wish to have a sort of a third party communication device with our family members when we feel unsafe to speak.

The judge (2014)

Years after he returns to his hometown, Chicago-based lawyer Hank Palmer decides to fight the case for his father, Joseph, an adjudicator, who is accused of murder.

Are you able to help the person who have let you down?
Are you able to be the person who can establish a healthy boundary between you and the people who have hurt you?
Are you able to exist without them?
Forgive? Forget?

Good Will Hunting (1997)

Self educated Will Hunting chooses to live a well beneath average life for the genius he is. He who attracts trouble like a magnet and fails to build healthy relationships, embarks on a healing journey when discovered by a university teacher. The orphan ends up establishing a heartwarming father-son relationship with his psychotherapist.

It's at the moment of realization that we're the one bringing our own misery, that we choose to reflect on our past to understand the origin of our actions and reactions.
Let us acknowledge our situation and try to stop the anticipated cycle.

Reach out.
You're not alone.
