As my mandate as President of the Lebanese Psychological Association is about to come to an end soon, I would like to take a moment to reflect on this journey and to express my sincere gratitude to all of you.
Serving the Association during the 2023–2026 mandate has been a deeply satisfying and enriching experience. It has been a true honor to lead this organization and to work collectively toward strengthening its role, visibility, and impact. I am particularly proud that, together, we were able to help the Association stand firmly back on its feet and reach new milestones that positioned it more boldly on the world map of psychological associations.
I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Board members for their trust, support, and unwavering commitment throughout this mandate. Your collaboration, professionalism, and shared sense of responsibility were essential to everything we achieved. I also sincerely hope that our members found value and benefit in the activities, initiatives, and opportunities we developed and delivered during these years.
My deepest appreciation goes to all those who supported me throughout my presidency, particularly the Lebanese Order of Psychologists and its Board members, whose guidance, partnership, and confidence were invaluable.
As I conclude this chapter and pass the responsibility to the next Board, I do so with optimism and confidence in the future of the Association. I wish the incoming Board every success in their mandate and assure them that I remain fully available to offer any support they may need as they continue this important work.
Thank you once again for the trust you placed in me and for the privilege of serving the Lebanese Psychological Association.
See you on Saturday January 31, 2026 at 9am at Warwick Stone 55 Hotel for the last General Assembly of our mandate and for the Elections of the new board for the following mandate: 2026 to 2029.
I wish all the nominees the best of luck. They are all excellent candidates and I am postive LPA will be in good hands whoever gets elected.
