Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that is naturally present in very few foods, added to others, and available as a dietary supplement. It is also produced endogenously when ultraviolet rays from sunlight strike the skin and trigger vitamin D synthesis!
Vitamin D is essential for strong bones, because it helps the body use calcium from the diet. Traditionally, vitamin D deficiency has been associated with rickets, a disease in which the bone tissue doesn't properly mineralize, leading to soft bones and skeletal deformities. But increasingly, research is revealing the importance of vitamin D in protecting against a lot of health problems.

Hypertension can be cause by a variety of factors. Most commonly it is cause by obesity and high salt intake! So if u suffer from hypertension decrease ur salt intake to a teaspoon per day or less, increase ur physical activity, and lose some weight if overweight or obese!💪

People are generally considered obese when their BMI ( weight/ height2) is over 30 kg/m2, with the range 25–30 kg/m2 defined as overweight. Obesity increases the likelihood of various diseases and conditions, particularly cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, obstructive sleep apnea, certain types pf cancer, osteoarthritis and depression!
It can be prevented by changing bad eating habits and exercising 3-4 times a week!

Jallab is a very popular drink in the Middle East. It’s made by diluting the syrup made of grape molasses, dates and rose water with water and serving it in a tall glass with crushed ice.
However, this dilicious drink most of us use to brake our fast contains about 34g of sugar and a totatl of 210 calories per serving, and thats not including the topings we add such as raisons and nuts! Its is advised to brake ones fast with eaither water or half a cup of freshly squeezed juice. Stay healthy during this holy month :)
