For the health and safety of your ears, we strongly advise against inserting cotton swabs (Q-tips) into the ear canal. Swabs often push wax deeper, increasing the risk of blockage, and may leave behind cotton fibers that cause irritation or infection. Improper use can even lead to serious injury, such as eardrum perforation. As stated on the packaging, swabs should not be used inside the ear canal.

حرصًا على صحة وسلامة أذنيكم، ننصح بشدة بعدم إدخال أعواد القطن داخل قناة الأذن. فغالبًا ما تدفع هذه الأعواد شمع الأذن إلى الداخل بدل إزالته، مما يزيد من خطر الانسداد، وقد تترك أليافًا قطنية تسبب تهيّجًا أو التهابات. كما أن الاستخدام غير الصحيح قد يؤدي إلى إصابات خطيرة، مثل ثقب طبلة الأذن. وكما هو مذكور على عبوة المنتج، لا يجب استخدام أعواد القطن داخل قناة الأذن.

Ear candling is not a medical treatment.
Despite being marketed in spas and beauty centers as a way to “clean” the ears or promote relaxation, studies show it is ineffective and potentially harmful.
Instead of removing earwax, melted wax can drip into the ear canal and cause injury, sometimes requiring medical intervention.
Don’t follow trends without evidence.

تنظيف الأذن بالشموع ليس علاجًا طبيًا.
رغم تسويقه في بعض المنتجعات ومراكز التجميل على أنه وسيلة لـ“تنظيف” الأذن أو تعزيز الاسترخاء، تُظهر الدراسات أنه غير فعّال وقد يكون خطيرًا.
بدلًا من إزالة شمع الأذن، قد يذوب الشمع ويتساقط داخل قناة الأذن، مما يسبب إصابات ومضاعفات قد تتطلب تدخلًا طبيًا.
