🧐 Hallux valgus is a very common condition that occurs at the base of the big toe. It affects mainly the joint but is also a more complex diagnosis.

👨🏻‍⚕️ If patients complain of deformity alone and request surgical correction, the result and possible complications might set this up for failure.

🏥 Surgery is best done if the patient is complaining of pain!
Following surgery, the patient can go home on the same day or the second day, and the surgeon prescribes you a special boot to be worn.
