The Luo Pan is a magnetic compass used by a Feng Shui practitioner to determine the precise direction of a structure, place or item.

"Luo" means a net that encompasses everything, whilst "Pan" means plate. This allegorically refers to the union of Heaven and Earth and specifically to the electro magnetic field (energy) that holds all matter together.

It’s the first process in a Feng Shui consultation.

A lot of times I see people complaining about what happened to them on a level, although they know deep inside that the reason behind it is that they haven’t moved their body lately nor they meditated.
This can cause stress that leads to body cramps, inflammation, severe headache, breathing problems, fatigue and many more …
That’s why it’s so important to focus on your because it’s so connected to your health!
When we mediate and move our body for at least 10 mins a day, our nervous systems resets itself - it takes away all the baggages that we holds and gives us new healthy ones. 🧘🏻

You’re already aware of some of the benefits of meditation — stress relief, anxiety and depression reduction, and productivity boosts …
But why should you meditate? Every reason to meditate is a positive one. It makes your brain sharper over time, increases blood flow to the brain, reduces oxidative stress and inflammation, and can even change gene expression!

YOGA TEACHES US THAT NOT ALL PROGRESS IS SEEN 🤍

There is no question that Yoga is a beautiful equipped practice at improving physical strength, flexibility and mobility - but today, I want to ask you … What about INSIDE?

Often the internal progress we experience through Yoga is overlooked because it’s unseen.

For ex, if you have spent years training to build the strength/ flexibility for a certain posture, the end result is visible but what about those feelings of pride, joy, patience & determination? The times you picked yourself up after every fall? The times you practiced even though life was busy& hard? The time you sat in meditation before rushing off to work?

That is all PROGRESS.

I consider my greatest progress in Yoga to be my growth, my capacity to be empathetic, compassionate, patient, gentle, playful, present & content.

We live in a world that thrives of instant gratification & external validation which is why I believe, we all “collectively” need Yoga now more than ever before.

We need to remember that we are more than our bodies, we are more than our jobs, we are more than our achievements.

So my reminder to you all today is, regardless of how well or not you believe your physical practice is progressing, take a moment to pause and see all the growth and process you’ve made internally through your practice.

The progress that is truly life changing and matters the most is often the progress that is unseen, but felt 🤍

Just because you cannot access some of the most advanced postures of asana, it doesn’t mean you cannot access the benefits of yoga.

Before I started yoga, my physical fitness was in decent shape but my inner world was abysmal.

I chose to use the practice of Yoga to rediscover my intuition, my inner guide, to reconnect to my true self/ higher self, to rewrite my life’s story and walk on a different route.

Yoga is a practice that gives us whatever it is that we need.

The greatest strength I have learnt through yoga is a strength that nobody can see, but it’s felt … maybe that’s true for you also.

Yoga didn’t find me to teach me acrobatics. It found me to teach me how to love & care for myself. 🤍

Feeling FULL from this medicine lately.
I’ve been very intentional about giving myself SPACE 🤍

space to rest
space for creation
space for passion
space for sunshine
space for relationships

Having a business & service offerings that fully support to take this “space” sounds wonderful, doesn’t it?
- to spend this year building an offering + system that are now truly starting to grant me freedom & space in my business.

It sounds great, but the truth is that it was hard for me to actually get comfortable with. The amount of de-conditioning I’m finding myself doing…

“you’re procrastinating”
“you’re being lazy”
“you should be showing up more”
“you should be posting more”
“success should be harder than this”
“it’s 10am - shouldn’t be at work by now?”

But, the community continues to grow, the sales continue to increase, and I’m able to show up more fully! I have exciting things planned for this page & .co from students to clients that always continue to thrive 🫶🏻

rested, grounded & happy!

I can tell them, YES you will arrive here, and the work you’re doing now WILL support you on the way. Keep going, continue building…

but remember to REST when your body asks. Slow down when you forget why you started. Your timeline is YOUR timeline. Build it right & your goal or business WILL have your back! 🙌🏻

You probably already know that yoga is a beautiful spiritual practice. But does it? !

The asana (physical practice) in yoga invites us to move our bodies in many different planes, angles, and alignments which makes the glutes get toned up. Much like your typical workout!
Breath is also a key component in encouraging each pose to flow into the next. 🍃
It’s a lot like when you are ready to quit on the stair master but choose to focus on your breath to get those few extra steps - it’s the same!
But, the main difference between yoga practice and your typical workout is the amplified spiritual, mind, body, and soul connection components. 🧘🏻✨
