Many people confuse Tinea Veriscolor and Vitiligo because they both appear as hypo-pigmentations on the same body locations.

However, the former is caused by a fungal infection that is temporary and treated with antifungal medication. While the latter is a chronic disease that requires a specifically customized treatment plan.

Consult your dermatologist when you notice any uneven skin colorations.

I always tell my patients that when it comes to laser treatment for scarring, the earlier the better. In this case, the three monthly treatment sessions were started three weeks after suture removal. Laser therapy is a safe, straightforward procedure with minimal downtime, and when initiated early, it can yield excellent aesthetic results

Yes psoriasis is a chronic treatment, but we can definitely prescribe an appropriate treatment so the patient can enjoy a healthy shining skin.
