On 3 February, our nurse coordinator, triage nurse, and minor injuries unit nurse participated in a refresher training on the Phone-Enabled Implementation for Smoking Cessation Support, organized by the AUB research team in coordination with the Ministry of Public Health. We are proud to contribute to this important collaborative initiative.

On Thursday, 29 January, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., some of the staff completed Basic Life Support (BLS) training. The training was conducted by the AMEL association and focused on essential life-saving skills and emergency response procedures.

On the days of January 14, 21, and 30, the “Mental Health Support for Anxiety” training workshop took place. Facilitated and delivered by Ms. Shaghig Havatian, the sessions covered, along with practical support approaches such as active listening, psycho-social support, and cognitive behavioral techniques. The training emphasized supporting both PHCC staff and patients, reflecting our ongoing commitment to placing mental well-being at the heart of everyday care. 🧘🫂

On January 28, 2026, in partnership with the Amel Association and Skoun Lebanese addiction center, a training was presented and free rapid testing for Syphilis, Hepatitis B & C, and HIV were conducted.

On Monday, January 19, 2026, a total of 50 individuals attended an awareness and psychological support presentation delivered by IDRAAC in collaboration with HelpAge International. The session focused on raising awareness of psychological issues and mental disorders through interactive discussions on mental health, coping strategies, and practical exercises designed to promote overall well-being.🫶🌸
