Գարակէօզեան Հաստատութիւնը խորին երախտագիտութեամբ եւ սիրով կազմակերպեց «Աւագ Սերունդի Օր»՝ ի պատիւ մեր սիրելի մեծ հայրերուն եւ մայրերուն, որոնք իրենց աղօթքներով, օրհնութիւններով եւ կեանքի փորձառութեամբ մեր հաստատութեան ճշմարիտ օրհնութիւնն են։
Հաւաքուած էինք հաստատութեան տանիքին վրայ՝ սիրոյ սեղանի շուրջ, ուր այս անգամ մեր ձեռնարկը ունէր ժամանցային եւ ջերմ մթնոլորտ։ Ծրագրի պատասխանատու Ժանին Դանիէլեան իր բարի գալուստի խօսքին մէջ ըսաւ.
«Դուք էք մեր պատմութեան կենդանի վկաները, մեր աւանդութիւններու եւ մշակոյթի պահապանները։ Ձեր իմաստութեամբ կը լեցնէք մեզ, կը ոգեշնչէք նոր սերունդները եւ կամուրջ մը կը դառնաք անցեալի եւ ներկայի միջեւ»։
Թամար Պաքալեան խօսեցաւ բոյսերու խորհրդանշական ուժին մասին, եւ իւրաքանչիւր մասնակից իր ձեռքով տնկեց բոյս մը՝ որպէս յոյսի եւ շարունակութեան խորհրդանիշ։
Խաղացինք Bingo, արտասանեցինք, երգեցինք, բաժնեցինք ժպիտներ եւ յուշեր։
Հաստատութեան տնօրէն Սերոբ Օհանեան իր խօսքին մէջ շեշտեց.
«Հաստատութիւնը այսօր կայ, որովհետեւ դուք աղօթեցիք մեզի համար։ Մենք միշտ ձեր կողքին ենք՝ ձեր աղօթքներով զօրացած»։
Ձեռնարկը եզրափակուեցաւ համատեղ ճաշով, պատրաստուած «Համայնքային Խոհանոց»-ի նուիրեալ տիկիններուն կողմէ, եւ իւրաքանչիւր մասնակից ստացաւ փոքրիկ սիրալիր նուէր մը։
Ձեռնարկի աւարտին, իւրաքանչիւրը մօտեցաւ եւ իր սրտանց շնորհակալութիւնը յայտնեց։ Անոնց խօսքերն էին մեր ամենամեծ պարգեւը։ Մեծ մայրերէն մէկը ըսաւ.
«Շատ քիչ են այն տեղերը, ուր տարեցները այս աստիճան յարգանք կը ստանան։ Իսկ դուք մեզ կը յարգէք ձեր հոգատարութեամբ, ձեր ժպիտով եւ այսպիսի ձեռնարկներու միջոցով։ Աստուած ձեզ աւելի օրհնէ»։
Այս խօսքերը ոգեշնչեցին մեզ շարունակելու մեր ծառայութիւնը՝ աւելի սիրով եւ նուիրումով։

The Karagheusian Association , with deep gratitude and love, organized “Senior Citizens’ Day” in honor of our beloved grandfathers and grandmothers, who, through their prayers, blessings, and life experience, are a true blessing to our center.
We gathered on the rooftop of the center around a table of love, where the event had a joyful and warm atmosphere.
Program manager Janine Tanielian, in her welcoming speech, said:
“You are the living witnesses of our history, the guardians of our traditions and culture. Through your wisdom, you enrich us, inspire the new generations, and become a bridge between the past and the present.”
Tamar Bakalian spoke about the symbolic power of plants, and each participant planted a flower with their own hands as a sign of hope and continuity.
The program also included Bingo game, recited poetry, sang songs, and shared smiles and memories.
The director of the center, Serop Ohanian emphasized in his remarks:
“The foundation stands today because you prayed for us. We are always by your side—strengthened by your prayers.”
The event concluded with a shared lunch, lovingly prepared by the devoted women of the “Community Kitchen,” and each participant received a small, heartfelt gift.
At the end of the event, each person came forward and expressed their sincere thanks.
Their words were our greatest reward. One of the grandmothers said:
“There are very few places where the elderly receive this level of respect. But you honor us with your care, your smile, and events like this. May God bless you even more.”
These words inspired us to continue our service with even more love and dedication.
We are proud of you, dear ones.
