Today marks my last day teaching hot yoga before I fully surrender to the sacred slowing down of these final weeks. At 36 weeks pregnant, I step back with a full heart and a deep sense of gratitude.
For the past four months, my little baby and I have moved, breathed, and sweated together through an intense and beautiful practice in the hot room. Many questioned my sanity and my safety, wondering why I’d teach in the heat with a growing belly. But I wasn’t listening to the noise. I was listening to myself.
To my breath.
To my body.
To my baby.
This journey reminded me again and again how powerful a woman’s body truly is. How wise it can be when we trust it. How strong we become when our hearts and minds turn inward.
To all the mamas out there: don’t underestimate what your body can hold. What your spirit can carry. You know the way if only you pause and listen.
A massive thank you to the team, , for giving me the space to lead, to teach, and to be, even while I wasn’t in my “normal state.” Teaching with my belly in front of me, guiding groups through the heat, was a humbling and unforgettable experience.
And to the students who stood by me, trusted me, embraced my journey, and allowed themselves to be inspired—thank you. I hope I showed you how resilient, grounded, and strong we can be when we move with purpose, and lead from within.
Now, it’s time to slow down, to rest, and to prepare. But oh, what a journey it’s been.
