الثلث الأول من الحمل - يتحقق من نمو الجنين ، ويحسب عمر الحمل ، وتاريخ ولادة الطفل ، ويتحقق من أي علامات على وجود شذوذ في الكروموسومات.

الفصل الثاني - يتحقق من تطور بنية الجنين ، وكمية السائل الأمنيوسي ، وحجم وموقع المشيمة وجنس الطفل

الثلث الثالث - يتحقق من معدل نمو الجنين والمشيمة والوضع قبل الولادة

As a fetal medicine specialist and through advanced (2D, 3D, 4D) ultrasounds, Dr. Chadi gives important information about your baby during pregnancy:

* First trimester - checks embryo development, calculates gestational age, baby’s due date, and check for any signs of chromosomal abnormalities.

* Second trimester - checks fetal structure development, amount of amniotic fluid, size and location of placenta and the baby’s gender.

Third trimester - checks baby’s growth rate, the placenta and position before delivery and wellbeing.

يتم فحص عظم الأنف في مرحلتين مختلفتين من الحمل.

The nasal bone is examined at two different stages of pregnancy.
During the first trimester scan, we check if the nasal bone is present.
During the second trimester scan, we measure it to see if it is of normal size.
This information is very important to us, since the absence or hypoplasia of the nasal bone is related to certain conditions.

Placenta Previa is a condition where the placenta lies low in the uterus and partially or completely covers the cervix.
Placenta previa can cause severe bleeding during pregnancy and delivery, and this might put you and your baby in danger.
It is very important to note the position of the placenta in the second trimester, in order to help prevent serious complications and to determine the safest mode of delivery.

الرئتان هما آخر الأعضاء التي تنضج لأن الجنين لا يحتاجها لأن المشيمة ستقوم بوظيفة الرئتين أثناء الحمل.
تبدأ الرئتان في العمل فقط بعد الولادة ، عندما يتلامس الطفل مع أكسجين الهواء.
من المهم فحص الرئتين أثناء التصوير بالموجات فوق الصوتية للتأكد من عدم وجود تشوهات.

The lungs are the last organs to mature since the foetus does not need them as the placenta will be carrying out the function of the lungs during the pregnancy.
The lungs will start working only after delivery, when the baby comes in contact with air oxygen.
It is important to check the lungs during an ultrasound to make sure there are no abnormalities.

A macrosomic baby is when the weight is above 4kg. The main factors associated with a macrosomic newborn are constitutional (due to genetics), gestational diabetes, and maternal obesity or excess weight gain during pregnancy.
