Joseph University-Beirut where he also completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1996. He then pursued his fellowship at the Universities and Hospitals of Paris in ultrasound, fetal medicine, high-risk pregnancy, infertility, breast reconstructive surgery, maternal and pregnancy pathologies. In addition he is certified coelioscopic and laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Barakat’s compassion a

nd experienced approach to treating complex infertility conditions places him among the very best fertility doctors and specialists in Lebanon; he has personally treated thousands of patients so far. He has published and edited several publications and theses. Currently, Dr. Barakat is a dedicated professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Holy Spirit University in Kaslik. He is a member of the French National College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as numerous other professional societies and organizations.
